Frequently asked questions
Is it actually free, or is there a catch?
Generating and refining a site is free and unlimited, no signup required to try it. The $25/mo only applies once you're ready to publish to a real, shareable link. That's the whole structure, not a limited trial dressed up as free.
Why can you afford to make generation free when other tools charge from the start?
Most tools in this category generate a brand-new AI video for every single site, which is real, metered compute cost every time. Parallux matches your brief to a library of pre-built cinematic scenes instead of rendering fresh video per site, so generating and refining costs us close to nothing.
See the full cost comparison vs. Draftly →What happens to my site if I cancel my subscription?
It isn't taken down instantly. You get a 5-day warning before it actually comes down, not an indefinite grace period and not an immediate cutoff the moment your card stops working.
Can I connect my own custom domain?
Yes, once you've published. Connect it from your dashboard and we handle the verification - your site becomes reachable at yourbrand.com instead of a getparallux.com link.
Can I export my site's code and host it myself?
Not yet. This is a real, current limitation, not something we're hiding - both Draftly and Vulk already offer code export on their paid tiers. It's on the roadmap, not available today.
Compare what each tool actually includes →Does the AI make up facts about my business?
No, by design. Anything that would be a real, specific fact only you could know - your address, phone number, prices, a customer's actual quote, a stat about your business - is always left blank for you to fill in yourself. The AI writes ordinary descriptive marketing copy, never a number or name that could be mistaken for a real fact you didn't provide.
Will my generated site actually show up in Google?
A generated site gets a real per-site page title and meta description automatically, which most AI site builders don't bother with. But ranking depends on things no tool can do for you automatically - real content depth and time, mainly. Getting a generated site is the starting line, not the finish line.
Read the full honest breakdown →What does "cinematic" actually mean here?
Scroll tied to real camera movement (not just elements fading in), a full-bleed video backdrop instead of a static hero image, oversized type that overlaps the visual, and a restrained, deliberate color palette. Closer to a film's opening title sequence than a typical landing page.
What makes a website cinematic, in full →How long does generation actually take?
15-20 seconds, measured directly, not a marketing estimate. If a tool you're comparing claims much faster for a similarly rich result, it's worth checking what's actually being generated.
Can I use my own photos and content?
Yes - every section supports your own uploaded photos, and real business details (address, hours, phone) are entered directly by you, never invented.
Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. Describe your brand in a sentence or two, then refine it afterward the same way you'd talk to a designer: "more colorful," "punchier tagline," "add an FAQ section." No design brief, no code.
What's the difference between Parallux, Draftly, and Vulk?
All three generate a cinematic AI website from a prompt, but they differ on cost structure, rendering approach, and what's included. The short version: Parallux is free to generate and refine, with a custom domain included once you publish but no code export yet; Draftly charges from your first generation but includes both custom domains and code export; Vulk has a genuine free tier and includes both too, but has broadened into a multi-platform app builder rather than staying website-specific.
