Parallux vs. Draftly

Parallux and Draftly both work the same way under the hood now - an AI-generated video backdrop, sliced into frames that play back as you scroll. That surprised us too; Parallux started out as a real-time 3D renderer and pivoted once it became clear that was the more honest comparison to make. The real differences are cost structure and content depth, not the rendering technique.

Where Parallux wins

  • Free, unlimited generation and refinement - Draftly's per-site video cost means you're paying before you've seen your result
  • Faster generation (15-20s vs. minutes) since nothing is rendered fresh per site
  • The same 11-block content system on every site, not gated behind which preset you picked

Where Draftly wins

  • A custom domain, included now - Parallux doesn't have this yet
  • Code export (ZIP) for anyone who wants to self-host or hand off to a developer - Parallux doesn't have this yet either
  • A much bigger, more mature preset library, with some genuinely impressive flagship presets

If you want to try before you commit and don't need a custom domain or code export yet, Parallux's cost model is the real advantage. If you need a custom domain or code export today, Draftly already has both.
